I really felt for owners who got turned away due to their pet’s intolerance for grooming, out of fear or aggression. Understandably some behaviour makes it impossible for the groomer to keep the pet or themselves safe. I wanted to find a solution. Opening Tangled Pet Grooming to combine my experiences have given me a holistic view of pet care through grooming. Understanding the importance of quality pet grooming, education and health has enabled me to create a more comforting and less stressful grooming environment.

I moved from Auckland to Nelson in 2020 with the dream to open my own grooming salon. I never could have imagined having the opportunity to work alongside such an amazing group of people at Town & Country Vet. Through lockdown and Covid, four years seemed to fly by.
I am looking forward to the new premises being opened in May 2025 and being able to provide a great grooming service to Nelson and Tasman pet owners.
